The event was attended by the First Deputy Chairman of the State Customs Committee, Major General of the Customs Service Bahruz Guliyev, staff of the relevant structural units of the Committee, members of the Public Council under the State Customs Committee and media representatives.
First Deputy Chairman of the State Customs Committee Bahruz Guliyev said that the customs authorities, as one of the key participants in ensuring economic security, are implementing measures to simplify customs clearance, apply a flexible and transparent management system and improve the legal framework of customs administration, in order to fulfil the set goals and tasks at a high level.
It was noted that, in order to speed up operations, improve accessibility and the level of service and ensure the rationality of procedures, the State Customs Committee has developed and put into operation the Automated Risk Analysis System (ARAS), the Electronic Account Page, Binding Rulings, the Expert Opinions Database, the Authorised Economic Operator, Smartbot and other projects.
It was stated that the newly launched “ÖZÜNET” project will also create additional opportunities to raise the satisfaction of citizens and entrepreneurs and to apply new digital solutions.

Fidan Gulmaliyeva, an officer of the Customs Risks Department, delivered a presentation on the project.
It was noted that the “ÖZÜNET” project, based on electronic solutions, is a platform that brings together all the electronic services offered by the State Customs Committee and is managed from a single point. Everyone who logs in to the “ÖZÜNET” platform will be able to use all the electronic services of the State Customs Committee in one place.
The new project can be accessed through the “electronic services” section of the official website of the State Customs Committee (customs.gov.az).
